Hand made from old English soldier metal (a pewter-like alloy) and
then beautifully hand painted, this fine chess set celebrates the famous
battle in 1836 at the Alamo fort, Texas. An army of 4,000 Mexican troops
led by General Santa Anna besieged and attacked the Alamo Fort which was
defended by 182 Texan volunteers. the first set produced is displayed at
